Peruvian textiles

Peruvian weavers with their marvelous skills are the descendants of the Incas. They come from villages in places such as the Sacred Valley, the Patacancha Valley, the Mapacho River Valley, and Ausangate. Their craftsmanship is carefully handed down generation by generation. Each generation slowly refining the pattern and craftsmanship until you get soft royal fabric with intricate designs.

Just like their ancestors, Peruvian weavers use Alpaca an extraordinary fiber. Alpaca fleece is a lustrous and silky natural fiber. While similar to sheep’s wool, it is warmer and not prickly.
